Paramount+ has today formally renewed its original dramedy series Tulsa King for a fourth season. The renewal comes ahead of the third season premiere this Sunday, September 21.
The renewal was heavily expected as series star and executive producer Sylvester Stallone signed a two-year deal ahead of the third season. Talks are already underway for Stallone to continue with the series beyond the fourth season order. The renewal also comes as the series will expand into a franchise with an order for the spinoff NOLA King starring Samuel L. Jackson.
In its third season, the dramedy stars Stallone, Martin Starr, Jay Will, Annabella Sciorra, Neal McDonough, Robert Patrick, Beau Knapp, Bella Heathcote, Chris Caldovino, McKenna Quigley Harrington, Mike "Cash Flo" Walden, Kevin Pollak, Vincent Piazza, Frank Grillo, Michael Beach, James Russo, Garrett Hedlund and Dana Delany.
Furthermore, Terence Winter will return as head writer and executive producer for the fourth season. Meanwhile, Dave Erickson will exit after serving as showrunner on the third season. Executive produces also include series creator Taylor Sheridan, David C. Glasser, Ron Burkle, David Hutkin, Bob Yari, Braden Aftergood, Jim McKay, Sheri Elwood, Ildy Modrovich and Keith Cox. MTV Entertainment Studios and 101 Studios produce.
