HULU's THE SPOT
  • Claire Danes and Ewan McGregor will headline the upcoming limited series created by Ed Solomon. Danes previously starred for eight seasons in Showtime's Homeland, winning two Emmy Awards for her performance. She next stars in Netflix's upcoming limited series The Beast Inside Me opposite Matthew Rhys. McGregor starred in the third season of FX's Fargo and in the Netflix limited series Halston, winning an Emmy Award for the latter.
  • The series follows a successful surgeon (Danes) and her school teacher husband (McGregor) who begin to suspect she might be responsible for a child's hit-and-run death. Their quest for truth spirals into a web of mounting suspicion and dark secrets, testing their resolve and their relationship as they confront the possibility of hidden guilt and betrayal.
NBC's ST. DENIS MEDICAL
  • Adam Rippon, Paul Scheer, Wayne Knight, Jessica Lowe and Jared Goldstein will guest star on the comedy's upcoming second season. Rippon is a retired figure skater who won a bronze medal in the team event at the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang. Scheer previously starred for seven seasons in FX's The League and three seasons in Showtime's Black Monday. Knight starred for four seasons in NBC's 3rd Rock from the Sun and four seasons in TV Land's The Exes. Lowe starred for three seasons in TBS' Wrecked and two seasons in HBO Max/Starz's Minx. Goldstein recurred on CBS' The Unicorn and guest starred on Hulu's Dollface.
  • Rippon will play a male patient who must convince Bruce (Josh Lawson) of his ailments.
  • Scheer will play Ruben, a brother of a patient who needs a kidney transplant. Even though he butts heads with his brother, he works with the St. Denis Medical doctors behind the scenes to save his brother's life.
  • Knight will play Dr. Axler, a gruff cardiologist who frequently clashes with Ron (David Alan Grier). Tensions reach an all time high when he pokes fun at a medical call made by Ron.
  • Lowe will play Violet, a cherry, somewhat odd woman who comes into St. Denis to win back her ex-husband, shocking the St. Denis staff.
  • Goldstein will play a technician operating a new health screening machine at St. Denis.
