CBS Gives Series Order to Drama 'Cupertino' Starring Mike Colter

CBS has today given a series order to the original drama series Cupertino - which will reunite Evil co-creators Robert and Michelle King with star Mike Colter. The new drama will air during the broadcast network's upcoming 2026-27 schedule.

Set in the heart of Silicon Valley, the drama will follow a lawyer (Colter) cheated out of his stock options by his former employer, a tech start-up. Refusing to back down, he joins forces with another recently fired attorney to represent those taken advantage of by the tech elite, and help them fight back in a high-stakes battle against the Goliaths controlling Silicon Valley.

The Kings will executive produce with Liz Glotzer. Robert King is also set to direct the premiere. CBS Studios and King Size Productions will produce.

Over the summer, the broadcast network commissioned a full writers room to produce 12 scripts beyond the pilot for the drama. Colter signed on to star in the project after that order. As the additional scripts have started coming in, CBS triggered the official series order today.
