Apple TV has today announced the premiere date for the upcoming second season of its original drama series Hijack.
The eight-episode second season will debut on Wednesday, January 14 with its first two episodes. New episodes will then be released weekly until the season finale on February 25.
In the new season, a Berlin underground train and its commuters are taken hostage, while authorities scramble to save hundreds of lives. Sam Nelson is at the heart of the crisis on board, where one wrong decision could spell disaster.
Idris Elba, Christine Adams, Max Beesley and Archie Panjabi return as series regulars for the second season. They are joined by new additions Christian Näthe, Clare-Hope Ashitey, Lisa Vicari, Toby Jones, Karima McAdams and Christiane Paul.
George Kay and Jim Field Smith created the drama. They executive produce with Elba, Jamie Laurenson, Hakan Kousetta and Tom Nash. 60Forty Films and Idiotlamp Productions produce.
