MGM+ has today acquired the broadcast rights to the original limited series Vanished starring Kaley Cuoco (The Big Bang Theory, The Flight Attendant). The four-part mystery thriller will be shot on location in Marseille and Paris.
MGM+ has secured the rights to air the series in the United States, Spain, Italy, Belgium, the Netherlands and Latin America. Previously, Prime Video picked up the series for the United Kingdom, Ireland, Canada, Australia and New Zealand.
When a couple's trip to Paris takes a dark turn with the sudden disappearance of her boyfriend Tom aboard a train to the south of France, Alice (Cuoco) is plunged into a web of intrigue and danger, uncovering shocking secrets about the man she thought she knew.
In addition to Cuoco, the series will star Sam Claflin, Karin Viard, Matthias Schweighöfer, Simon Abkarian and Dar Zuzovsky.
David Hilton and Preston Thompson created the series. They will executive produce with Cuoco, James Clayton, David Kosse, Stuart Ford, Lourdes Diaz, Miguel A. Palos Jr. and director Barnaby Thompson. AGC Television, Slow Burn Entertainment, Rockwood Pictures and Fragile Films will produce.
