Showtime Renews 'Dexter: Resurrection' for Season 2

Showtime has today renewed its original drama series Dexter: Resurrection for a second season. The renewal was expected as the series had already opened a writers' room for another season instead of the previously renewed and since cancelled Dexter: Original Sin.

The drama's first season starred Michael C. Hall, Uma Thurman, Jack Alcott, David Zayas, Ntare Guma Mbaho Mwine, Kadia Saraf, Dominic Fumusa, Emilia Suárez, James Remar and Peter Dinklage.

Clyde Phillips developed the Dexter spinoff. He executive produces with Hall, Scott Reynolds, Tony Hernandez, Lilly Burns and Marcos Siega. Paramount Television Studios and Counterpart Studios produce.
