NETFLIX's THE BOYS FROM BRAZIL
- Daniel Brühl, August Diehl, Gillian Anderson, Shira Haas and Lizzy Caplan will co-star on the upcoming limited series starring Jeremy Strong. Brühl previously starred for two seasons in TNT's The Alienist and in the Star limited series Becoming Karl Lagerfeld. Diehl starred in the films The Young Karl Marx, A Hidden Life and The King's Man. Anderson is a two-time Emmy Award winner for her performances in FOX's The X-Files and Netflix's The Crown. Haas starred in the Netflix limited series Unorthodox, receiving an Emmy Award nomination for her performance. Caplan starred for four seasons in Showtime's Masters of Sex, in the FX limited series Fleishman Is in Trouble and in the Netflix limited series Zero Day.
- Brühl will play Von Harteneck. Diehl will play Johann-Friedrich Meinhardt. Anderson will play Frieda Steiner. Haas will play Anna Koehler. Caplan will play Hannah Liebermann.
NETFLIX's BLACK DOVES
- Production on the British spy thriller has begun today. New additions to the cast include Ambika Mod, Babou Ceesay, Sam Riley, Neve Campbell, Sylvia Hoeks, Goran Kostic and Samuel Barnett. Mod previously starred in the BBC One limited series This Is Going to Hurt and in the Netflix limited series One Day. Ceesay currently stars in FX's Alien: Earth, which has been renewed for a second season. Riley starred in the films Firebrand, Widow Clicquot and Islands. Campbell stars in the Scream film franchise. Hoeks starred for three seasons in Apple TV's See. Kostic appeared in the films Canary Black and Ant-Man and the Wasp. Barnett starred in the BBC One limited series Four Lives and in the ITV limited series Murder in Provence.
- Mod will play Laila, an acerbic and anarchic Black Doves agent who is sent to help Helen (Keira Knightley) on a mission.
- Ceesay will play Mr Conteh, a Black Doves executive with suspicious motivations.
- Riley will play Patrick, an emissary from a mysterious organization, who offers Sam (Ben Whishaw) a lifeline.
- Campbell will play Cecile Mason. Hoeks will play Katia Chernov. Kostic will play Alexi Chernov. Barnett will play Jerry.
- In addition to Knightley and Whishaw, returning cast members for the second season include Sarah Lancashire, Andrew Buchan, Kathryn Hunter, Ella Lily Hyland, Gabrielle Creevy, Agnes O'Casey and Molly Chesworth.
FX's SHOGUN
- Ren Meguro has joined the cast of the drama's upcoming second season. He is currently a member of the chart-topping J-pop group "Snow Man" as well as a global ambassador for fashion house Fendi.
- He will play Kazutada.
