The eight-episode limited series will debut on Wednesday, March 18 with its first two episodes. New episodes will then be released weekly every Wednesday until the season finale on April 29.
The series examines a crime that shatters the lives of three women in a decades-long friendship. The unconventional thriller explores guilt and retribution, love and betrayal, and the compromises we make that irrevocably alter our lives. As the investigation unravels, so does the truth about how even the closest friendships may not be what they seem.
In addition to Moss and Washington, the cast features Kate Mara, Joel Kinnaman, Corey Stoll, Leslie Odom Jr., Audrey Zahn, Jill Wagner, Rome Flynn, Sheryl Lee Ralph, Violette Linnz, Indiana Elle, Jackson Kelly, Keith Carradine, Ana Ortiz and Wilson Bethel.
Annie Weisman developed the series based on the novel by Araminta Hall. The showrunner and author executive produce with Moss, Washington, Lindsey McManus, Pilar Savone, Kay Oyegun and director Lesli Linka Glatter. Apple Studios, 20th Television, Love & Squalor Pictures and Simpson Street Productions produce.
