Apple TV has today announced the premiere date for the upcoming fifth season of its original drama series For All Mankind.
The 10-episode fifth season will debut on Friday, March 27 with its first episode. New episodes will then be released weekly every Friday until the season finale on May 29.
The new season picks up in the years since the Goldilocks asteroid heist. Happy Valley has grown into a thriving colony with thousands of residents and a base for new missions that will take us even further into the solar system. But with the nations of Earth now demanding law and order on the Red Planet, friction continues to build between the people who live on Mars and their former home.
Returning cast members include Joel Kinnaman, Toby Kebbell, Edi Gathegi, Cynthy Wu, Coral Peña and Wrenn Schmidt.
They will be joined by new series regulars Mireille Enos, Costa Ronin, Sean Kaufman, Ruby Cruz and Ines Asserson.
Ronald D. Moore, Matt Wolpert and Ben Nedivi created the drama. They executive produce with Maril Davis, Kira Snyder, David Weddle, Bradley Thompson and Seth Edelstein. Sony Pictures Television and Tall Ship Productions produce.
