The 10-episode limited series will premiere on Friday, June 5 with its first two episodes. New episodes will then be released weekly every Friday through the season finale on July 31.
A storm is coming for happily married attorneys Anna (Adams) and Tom Bowden (Wilson) when Max Cady (Bardem), the notorious killer they are responsible for putting behind bars, is let out of prison - and he wants vengeance. The drama is based on the 1957 novel "The Executioners" by John D. MacDonald and inspired by the 1991 film adaptation directed by Martin Scorsese.
In addition to Adams, Bardem and Wilson, the cast features CCH Pounder, Joe Anders, Lily Collias, Jamie Hector, Malia Pyles and Anna Baryshnikov.
Nick Antosca developed the series. He executive produces with Adams, Bardem, Scorsese, Steven Spielberg, Alex Hedlund, Darryl Frank, Justin Falvey and director Morten Tyldum. Universal Content Productions, Amblin Television and Eat the Cat produce.
