APPLE TV's THE OFF WEEKS
- John Cho has been cast in a recurring role on the upcoming limited series starring Jessica Chastain and Ben Stiller. He previously starred in the film Searching and in the second season of AppleTV+'s The Afterparty.
- No details were immediately announced about the character he will be playing.
CBS' ELSBETH
- Mark Linn-Baker, Joanna Gleason and Didi Conn will appear in an upcoming episode of the drama's third season. Linn-Baker previously starred for eight seasons in ABC's Perfect Strangers and recurred on CBS' Ghosts. Gleason has received three Tony Award nominations - winning in 1988 for her role in the musical Into the Woods. Conn starred in the Grease film franchise and currently recurs on FOX's Best Medicine.
- Linn-Baker will play Barney Corman, a bookstore owner and literary critic who grew up in the same hometown as famed novelist Elliott Pope (guest star Griffin Dunne). That shared history makes Barney's criticism sting, with deadly consequences.
- Gleason will play Maura Davidoff, Elliott's brilliant first wife, who wrote her own tell-all about her marriage to a literary legend.
- Conn will play Beverly Corman, Barney's wife turned widow, who is determined to get justice for her late husband.
