PRIME VIDEO's ELLE
- Maitreyi Ramakrishnan has been cast in a recurring role on the second season of the upcoming Legally Blonde prequel. She previously starred for four seasons in Netflix's Never Have I Ever and in the 2025 film Freakier Friday.
- She will play Sam, Elle's (Minetree) foil - possessing all our hero's ambition and none of her optimism. She's the founder, editor-in-chief, and lord baron of the school newspaper, the commissioner of the grammar police, and the enemy of joy. If Cosmo is Elle's bible, The AP Stylebook is Sam's holy grail.
CBS' CUPERTINO
- Rob McClure, Joe Morton and Steven Pasquale have landed recurring roles on the upcoming drama starring Mike Colter and Rachel Keller. McClure has received two Tony Award nominations for his performances in the musicals Chaplin and Mrs. Doubtfire. Morton appeared in six seasons of ABC's Scandal, winning an Emmy Award for his performance in 2014. Pasquale starred for seven seasons in FX's Rescue Me and recurred on CBS' The Good Wife.
- McClure will Bo, a potential client who approaches Michael (Colter) and Olivia's (Keller) firm for representation.
- Morton will play Bayard, Michael's celebrity lawyer father who casts a long shadow and values success above all else.
- Pasquale will play Ry, a successful Silicon Valley lawyer who knows how to take control of a room.
NETFLIX's A DIFFERENT WORLD
- Charnele Brown and Jenifer Lewis will reprise their roles from the NBC sitcom in the upcoming reboot. Brown previously starred for five seasons in the original series as Kimberly Reese while Lewis recurred as Professor Davenport.
- Additional guest stars in the first season will include Vincent Jamal Hooper, Elijah J. Roberts, Renee Harrison, Famecia Ward and Dasan Onyx Frazier. Hooper will play Ellington. Roberts will play Jalen. Harrison will play Candace. Ward will play Nellie Gaines. Frazier will play Xavier.
