PEACOCK's THE DAY OF THE JACKAL
- Weruche Opia and Pablo Schreiber have joined the cast of the drama's upcoming second season. Opia previously starred in the HBO limited series I May Destroy You and in the National Geographic limited series Genius: MLK/X. Schreiber starred for two seasons in Starz's American Gods, two seasons in Paramount+'s Halo and in the Netflix limited series His & Hers.
- No details were immediately announced about the characters they will be playing. They will star alongside returning series regular Eddie Redmayne.
SHOWTIME's YELLOWJACKETS
- Nia Sondaya has been promoted to series regular on the drama's upcoming fourth and final season. She has appeared as a recurring guest star on the drama since its second season. She has been credited in 19 episodes so far.
- She plays Teen Akilah, who vanished after a confrontation with Teen Lottie (Courtney Eaton) during the Season 3 finale.
