MGM+ and Prime Video have today announced the premiere date for the upcoming original drama series Spider-Noir starring Nicolas Cage.
The eight-episode first season will make its linear debut on Monday, May 25 on MGM+. Then, the entire first season will be released as a binge on Prime Video on Wednesday, May 27. The series will be available to stream two ways, in "Authentic Black & White" and "True-Hue Full Color" for audiences to choose their own adventure to watch.
A live-action adaptation of the Marvel comic, Ben Reilly (Cage), a seasoned, down on his luck private investigator in 1930s New York, is forced to grapple with his past life, following a deeply personal tragedy, as the city's one and only superhero.
In addition to Cage, the drama stars Lamorne Morris, Li Jun Li, Karen Rodriguez, Abraham Popoola, Jack Huston and Brendan Gleeson.
Guest stars include Lukas Haas, Cameron Britton, Cary Christopher, Michael Kostroff, Scott MacArthur, Joe Massingill, Whitney Rice, Amanda Schull, Andrew Caldwell, Amy Aquino, Andrew Robinson and Kai Caster.
Phil Lord, Christopher Miller, Amy Pascal, Oren Uziel and Steve Lightfoot developed the drama, with Uziel and Lightfoot serving as co-showrunners. All five executive produce with Cage, Pavlina Hatoupis, Aditya Sood, Dan Shear and director Harry Bradbeer. Sony Pictures Television, Lord Miller and Pascal Pictures produce.
