ABC's Grey's Anatomy; Hulu's Reasonable Doubt; MGM+'s Bosch: Start of Watch; and Netflix's A Different World.
ABC's GREY'S ANATOMY
- The drama's upcoming Season 22 finale will mark the end for cast members Kevin McKidd and Kim Raver as series regulars. McKidd has portrayed Dr. Owen Hunt since the drama's fifth season. Raver began as Dr. Teddy Altman in the drama's sixth season before leaving at the end of the eighth season. She returned as a recurring guest star in the 14th season and became a series regular again starting with the 15th season. Furthermore, both actors have directed multiple episodes of the veteran medical procedural - 48 episodes for McKidd and three for Raver.
- McKidd said, "Playing Dr. Owen Hunt and directing on the show have both shaped me enormously, and I've had the privilege of working with an extraordinary group of people throughout that time. I'm particularly thankful to Shonda Rhimes for creating Owen, and for the encouragement she gave me as I stepped into directing."
- Raver added, "Sixteen years ago, I had the incredible privilege of stepping into this role thanks to the vision of Shonda Rhimes and Betsy Beers. Since that day, it has been a true gift to bring the iconic words of Shonda and our brilliant team of writers to life."
NETFLIX's A DIFFERENT WORLD
- Dawnn Lewis and Glynn Turman are the latest actors from the original NBC sitcom to reprise their roles as guest stars on the upcoming reboot. They will be joined by new guest stars Tichina Arnold, Joshua Suiter and Raven Goodwin. Both Lewis and Turman starred for five seasons in the original series. Arnold currently stars in CBS' The Neighborhood, which is now airing its eighth and final season. Suiter recurred on Hulu's All's Fair. Goodwin starred for four seasons in BET's Being Mary Jane and in FX's one-season drama Grotesquerie.
- Lewis plays Jaleesa Vinson-Taylor. Turman plays Colonel Bradford Taylor.
- Arnold will play Darlene Duvall. Suiter will play Andre. Goodwin will play Dr. Brooklyn Boyer.
MGM+'s BOSCH: START OF WATCH
- Raphael Sbarge, Seamus Dever, Kenneth Miller, Marco Rodriguez, Rafi Gavron and Ryan McPartlin have joined the cast of the upcoming Bosch prequel starring Cameron Monaghan. Sbarge starred for three seasons in TNT's Murder in the First and recurred on HBO's Task. Dever starred for eight seasons in ABC's Castle. Miller recurred on FOX's The Cleaning Lady and Netflix's Ransom Canyon. Rodriguez recurred on Prime Video's The Terminal List and Apple TV's Presumed Innocent. Gavron starred in the Hulu limited series Catch-22 and for two seasons in MGM+'s Godfather of Harlem. McPartlin starred for five seasons in NBC's Chuck and two seasons in Spectrum's L.A.'s Finest.
- Sbarge will play Sunshine Finn, a cold and meticulous sergeant whose rigid, detail-oriented standards spark fear in rookies.
- Dever will play Hastings aka "Mr. Fix It," a blunt, no-nonsense training officer assigned to boots on the brink of not passing probation.
- Miller will play Fremlin, a hardworking member of Cory's (JD Pardo) crew who keeps his head down and gets the job done - no questions asked, as long as the payday's right.
- Rodriguez will play Max Vargas, a grizzled ex-con whose return from prison threatens to disrupt his son Cory's life.
- Gavron will play Restrepo, Cory's trusted right hand - sharp, loyal and never afraid to ask the hard questions when something doesn't add up.
- McPartlin will play Mike Garner, a pigheaded CRASH detective who quickly shuts Bosch (Monaghan) down for overstepping.
HULU's REASONABLE DOUBT
- Meagan Good and Durrell "Tank" Babbs have been cast as new series regulars on the drama's upcoming fourth season. Good previously starred in the Think Like a Man and Shazam! film franchises. Babbs has released two solo studio albums and received four Grammy Award nominations.
- Good will play Regina Harris, the new district attorney who is smart, compassionate, and nobody's fool.
- Babbs will play Eric Cropper, a super-wealthy R&B artist and Jax's (Emayatzy Corinealdi) longtime client. He is charming, calculating and accustomed to always getting his way at all costs.
