APPLE TV's THE MORNING SHOW
- Jeff Daniels has been cast in a recurring role on the drama's upcoming fifth season. He has received five Emmy Award nominations - winning in 2013 for his role in HBO's The Newsroom and in 2018 for his performance in Netflix's Godless. He also starred in the Showtime limited series The Comey Rule, for two seasons in Prime Video's American Rust, and in the Netflix limited series A Man in Full. He currently recurs on Apple TV's Shrinking.
- He will play Lukas, a self-made billionaire and founder of a well-known investment firm.
HULU's THE LAND and PRIME VIDEO's BALLARD
- Benjamin Bratt has booked recurring roles on the upcoming Hulu drama starring Christopher Meloni and the upcoming coming season of the Prime Video drama. He previously starred for four seasons in NBC's Law & Order, two seasons in ABC's Private Practice, and two seasons in FOX's Star. He also recurred on ABC's Modern Family and Disney+'s Andor.
- On the Hulu drama, he will play an NFL head coach who formerly worked for Danny (Meloni).
- On the Prime Video, he will play Ryan Ainsley, a former DEA agent who traded taking down hardened drug dealers for a simpler life as a cowboy tending to his Idaho ranch.
PRIME VIDEO's WE WERE LIARS
- Dempsey Bryk has been promoted to series regular on the drama's upcoming second season. He previously recurred on the first season - appearing in five episodes overall. He previously recurred on CBC's Coroner and FOX's Going Dutch.
- He will play Ebon, a rough-around-the-edges Boston guy who spends his summers among the blue-blooded elite, captaining a charter boat for senators and celebrities. After a heartbreaking loss, he's back on Martha's Vineyard to make money, not to make friends. He's got a fresh chip on his shoulder and absolutely no interest in being pulled into rich people's sordid secrets - but it's hard to avoid in these murky waters.
STARZ's POWER: ORIGINS
- Zuri Reed will co-star on the upcoming Power prequel starring Spence Moore, Charlie Mann and MeKai Curtis. She previously starred in Disney+'s one-season drama National Treasure: Edge of History and recurred on Showtime's Flatbush Misdemeanors.
- She will play Tasha, the younger version of the character portrayed by Naturi Naughton for six seasons in the original series and four seasons in its spinoff Power Book II: Ghost.
USA's THE RAINMAKER
- Merle Dandridge is set as a new series regular on the drama's upcoming second season. She previously starred for five seasons in OWN's Greenleaf and three seasons in ABC's Station 19. She also recurred on HBO's The Last of Us.
- She will play Amanda Vonn, a powerhouse attorney who provides a fresh gateway to power for Sarah (Madison Iseman) and a new kind of adversary for Rudy (Milo Callaghan).
FOX's BAYWATCH
- Brooks Nader and Noah Beck have joined the cast of the upcoming drama starring Stephen Amell. A model, Nader previously competed on the 33rd season of ABC's Dancing With the Stars - where she was the fifth eliminated contested. She also stars in the Freeform reality series Love They Nader, which has been renewed for a second season. A content creator on TikTok, Beck also starred in the Sidelined film franchise on Tubi.
- Nader will play Selene, the sharp-tongued Captain of the Zuma Beach lifeguards. While she is excellent at her job, she and Baywatch Captain Hobie Buchannon (Amell) have a very different approach to saving lives that is a constant source of friction. Never on good terms, their relationship only goes downhill after Hobie brings his daughter, Charlie (Jessica Belkin), onto his team... and it becomes clear that their rivalry goes much deeper than lifeguarding.
- Beck will play Luke, a rookie lifeguard, and the youngest in a family of firefighters who chose the beach over the firehouse. He is the ultimate charming SoCal beach boy, a surfer and a flirt, but when it comes to saving lives, he's one of the best. He's got some growing up to do, and Baywatch is a big part of that, especially his relationship with Hobie, who he sees as a mentor and a second father.
HBO's YOUTH
- Sharlene Whyte, Aran Murphy and Robbie Gee have scored series regular roles on the upcoming comedy created by and starring Sharon Horgan. Whyte starred in the second season of BBC One's Sherwood and in the BBC One limited series Mr Loverman. Murphy will star in HBO's upcoming drama War. Gee recurred on Epix's Berlin Station, Disney+'s Extraordinary and Netflix's Supacell.
- No details were immediately announced about the characters they will be playing.
