FOX has today renewed its original drama series Best Medicine for a second season. The series will return with 12 new episodes as part of the broadcast network's upcoming 2026-27 schedule.
The drama stars Josh Charles, Abigail Spencer, Josh Segarra, Cree and Annie Potts.
Liz Tuccillo developed the drama based on the British series Doc Martin. She executive produces with Ben Silverman, Rodney Ferrell, Howard T. Owens, Mark Crowdy and Philippa Braithwaite. Fox Entertainment Studios, Propagate Content and All3Media International produce.
"Best Medicine quickly became a breakout for us this season, blending sharp humor with real heart," said Michael Thorn, President, FOX Television Network. "Liz Tuccillo brings a distinctive creative voice to the series, and Josh Charles leads an exceptional cast that audiences have embraced. We, along with Propagate, are excited to build on that momentum in Season Two."
