Netflix Sets Premiere Date for New Drama 'Man on Fire' Starring Yahya Abdul-Mateen II

Netflix has today announced the premiere date for its upcoming original drama series Man on Fire starring Yahya Abdul-Mateen II.







All seven episodes of the first season will be available on Thursday, April 30.

Once a high-functioning and skilled Special Forces mercenary, known for surviving even the most desolate of situations, John Creasy (Abdul-Mateen II) is now plagued with intense PTSD. Determined to overcome his personal demons, he sets out on a path to redemption. But before he can adjust to this new life, he finds himself back in the fire, fighting harder than ever.

In addition to Abdul-Mateen II, the drama stars Billie Boullet, Bobby Cannavale, Alice Braga, Scoot McNairy and Paul Ben-Victor.

Kyle Killen developed the drama based on the novels by A.J. Quinnell. He executive produces with Abdul-Mateen II, Arnon Milchan, Yariv Milchan, Natalie Lehmann, Peter Chernin, Jenno Topping, Tracey Cook, Scott Pennington, Ed McDonell, Michael Polaire, Stacy Perskie and director Steven Caple Jr. New Regency Productions, Chernin Entertainment, Chapter Eleven and RedRum produce.
