AMC has today announced the premiere date for the upcoming third season of its original drama series Interview With the Vampire - now titled The Vampire Lestat to reflect the Anne Rice book it adapts.
The third season will premiere on Sunday, June 7 at 9/8c.
In the upcoming rock and roll-centric season, the Vampire Lestat goes on an electric multi-city tour while being haunted by "muses" from his wild and rebellious past. As his band's popularity and star power rise, so does Lestat's influence over vampires and humans alike, leaving others to contend with Lestat's power in the face of the Great Conversion, an unnatural surge in the vampire population.
The drama stars Sam Reid, Jacob Anderson, Assad Zaman, Eric Bogosian, Delainey Hayles and Jennifer Ehle.
Rolin Jones developed the drama based on "The Vampire Chronicles" novels by Anne Rice. The showrunner and late author executive produce with Mark Johnson, Hannah Moscovitch and Christopher Rice. AMC Studios and Gran Via Productions produce.
