Apple TV Orders Untitled Comedy Starring Elizabeth Banks

Apple TV has today given a series order to an untitled original comedy series starring and executive produced by Elizabeth Banks (The Miniature Wife, The Better Sister). Production will begin in Los Angeles later this year.

Fresh off a messy divorce, Heidi (Banks) sets out to secure a lively second act for herself and her kids. But when she stumbles into coordinating her father's retirement community sex dates, Heidi is forced into an unlikely alliance with his girlfriend's perpetually single son.

Liz Heldens and Matt Ward created the comedy. They will executive produce with Banks, Max Handelman, Krissy Wall, Quinn Haberman, Jason Winer, Jon Radler and director Jonathan Krisel. 20th Television, Brownstone Productions, Selfish Mermaid and Small Dog Picture Company will produce.
