- Michelle Monaghan has been cast as a series regular on the drama's upcoming third season. She previously starred in the first season of HBO's True Detective, for three seasons in Hulu's The Path, in the Netflix limited series Echoes, in the first season of Apple TV's Bad Monkey, and in the third season of HBO's The White Lotus.
- No details were immediately announced about the character she will be playing.
SHOWTIME's DEXTER: RESURRECTION
- Yesterday, Dan Stevens joined the cast of the upcoming MGM+ drama Legacy of Spies. Today, he's set to become a new series regular on the upcoming second season of the Dexter sequel. He previously starred for three seasons in ITV's Downtown Abbey, three seasons in FX's Legion, in the Starz limited series Gaslit, and in the Netflix limited series Zero Day.
- He will play Owen Stark, the Five Borough Killer, a serial killer who taunts the police with phone calls threatening the murder of innocent citizens. When he follows through with the awful deeds, the city and the police are terrorized.
