ABC's 9-1-1: NASHVILLE
- Ryan Phillippe has been cast as a new series regular on the drama's upcoming second season. He previously starred in the fifth season of FX's Damages, the first season of ABC's Secrets and Lies, for three seasons in USA's Shooter, in the Peacock limited series MacGruber, and in Prime Video's one-season drama Motorheads.
- He will play a brilliant, iconoclastic detective who moves to Nashville from New York. A seductive bad boy with a past, he'll stir up all kinds of juicy drama with the first responders while leading an investigation into a mysterious criminal tormenting Nashville on a biblical scale.
APPLE TV's SAFE HOUSES
- David Lyons and Tobias Menzies have joined the cast of the upcoming drama starring Ana de Armas and Jennifer Connelly. Lyons recently starred in the third season of Netflix's The Night Agent and recurred on Netflix's The Beast in Me. Menzies starred for two seasons in Netflix's The Crown, winning an Emmy Award for his performance in 2021.
- Lyons will play Kevin Garvey, a special ops CIA agent.
- Menzies will play Clarke Winters, Elizabeth's (Connelly) husband.
FX's THE LOWDOWN
- Austin Amelio has landed a recurring role on the drama's upcoming second season. He previously starred for two seasons in AMC's The Walking Dead and four seasons in its spinoff Fear the Walking Dead. He also starred in the Spanish series When No One Sees Us.
- No details were immediately announced about the character he will be playing.
