Prime Video Renews "Young Sherlock" for Season 2

Prime Video has today renewed its original dramedy series Young Sherlock for a second season. An episode count and premiere date window were not immediately announced.






The irreverent, action-packed mystery series charts the legendary origin story of the world's greatest detective, Sherlock Holmes.

Hero Fiennes Tiffin, Dónal Finn, Zine Tseng, Joseph Fiennes, Natascha McElhone, Max Irons, Numan Acar, Holly Cattle and Colin Firth star.

Matthew Parkhill created the series. Guy Ritchie will return to direct the first episode of the second season. They executive produce with Marc Resteghini, Dhana Rivera Gilbert, Simon Maxwell, Ivan Atkinson, Simon Kelton, Colin Wilson and Harriet Creelman. Amazon MGM Studios, Inspirational Entertainment, Motive Pictures and Toff Guy Films produce.

All eight episode of the first season were released on March 4, 2026.
