Season 3 of "Silo" Receives Premiere Date on Apple TV

Apple TV has today announced the premiere date for the upcoming third season of its original drama series Silo.

The 10-episode third season will launch on Friday, July 3 with its first episode. New episodes will be released weekly every Friday until the season finale on September 4. The drama has already been renewed for a fourth and final season.

The new season continues the saga of a dystopian society of 10,000 people living underground under mysterious circumstances, while revealing an origin story set centuries earlier. In the present, Juliette Nichols survives her forced "cleaning" but returns with memory loss as the silo recovers from rebellion and faces a dangerous new threat. Meanwhile, in the "Before Times," journalist Helen Drew and Congressman Daniel Keene uncover a conspiracy that pulls them into a chain of events with catastrophic, irreversible consequences.

The drama stars Rebecca Ferguson, Common, Harriet Walter, Chinaza Uche, Avi Nash, Alexandria Riley, Shane McRae, Remmie Milner, Rick Gomez, Billy Postlethwaite and Clare Perkins.

Recurring guest stars include Ashley Zukerman, Jessica Henwick, Laura Innes, Jessica Brown Findlay, Morven Christie, Reed Birney, Matt Craven, Colin Hanks and Steve Zahn.

Graham Yost created the drama based on the novels by Hugh Howey. The showrunner and author executive produce with Ferguson, Michael Dinner, Nina Jack, Joanna Thapa, Morten Tyldum, Amber Templemore, Fred Golan and Rémi Aubuchon. Apple Studios and AMC Studios produce.
