CBS' EINSTEIN
  • Tony Shalhoub will reunite with Monk creator Andy Breckman as a recurring guest star on the upcoming drama starring Matthew Gray Gubler and Melissa Fumero. Shalhoub starred for all eight seasons of the USA drama, winning three Emmy Awards for his lead performance. He also starred for five seasons in Prime Video's The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, winning an additional Emmy Award for his supporting role.
  • He will play Jack Einstein, Lewis Einstein's (Gubler) father.
PRIME VIDEO's BISHOP
  • Rick Hoffman, Bronson Pinchot, Ron Lea, Kaniehtiio Horn, Hunter Dillon, Dillon Casey, Brett Donahue, Jorja Cadence, Ishan Davé and Adam J. Harrington have been cast in recurring roles on the upcoming drama starring Joel Kinnaman and John Malkovich.
  • Hoffman (Suits) will play Martin Stone. Pinchot (Perfect Strangers) will play Dougray Dillion. Lea (The Christmas Market) will play Lt. Jack Quinn. Horn (The Lowdown) will play Tasha Graves. Dillon (Holly Hobbie) will play Ren Graves. Casey (Nikita) will play Inspector Banton. Donahue (The Sketch Artist) will play Lee Donnally. Cadence (Rabbit Hole) will play Lara Stone. Davé (Kim's Convenience) will play Inspector Ashish Rai. Harrington (God of War) will play Eric Olsen.
APPLE TV's SHRINKING
  • Karen Gillan has booked a recurring role on the comedy's upcoming fourth season. She previously starred in the Guardians of the Galaxy and Jumanji film franchises. She also starred for three seasons in BBC One's Doctor Who and in the ITV limited series Douglas Is Cancelled.
  • No details were immediately announced about the character she will be playing.
FOX's BAYWATCH
  • Mary McDonnell has landed a recurring role on the upcoming drama reboot starring Stephen Amell. She received two Academy Award nominations for her performances in Dances With Wolves and Passion Fish. She received two Emmy Award nominations for her guest roles on NBC's ER and TNT's The Closer. She also starred for four seasons in Syfy's Battlestar Galactica, six seasons in TNT's Major Crimes and in the Netflix limited series The Fall of the House of Usher.
  • She will play Gayle, Hobie's (Amell) mother and Charlie's (Jessica Belkin) grandmother, a sophisticated woman with a wryly funny presence. She cares deeply for her family and is there for them even when they're not sure they want her help. Gayle and Hobie have a long, complicated history, but no matter how much time or distance gets between them, family always seems to find its way back together. She's learned a thing or two about second chances over the years, and she shares that wisdom with humor and grace.
NETFLIX's THE GOD OF THE WOODS
  • Nell Fisher, Damon Gupton, Susannah Perkins, Benjamin Walker, and Autumn Molina have joined the cast of the upcoming drama starring Maya Hawke and Kerry Condon. The drama will serve as a Stranger Things reunion - as Fisher previously starred in the fifth season opposite Hawke. Gupton starred for three seasons in The CW's Black Lightning and two seasons in Apple TV's The Big Door Prize. Perkins guest starred on Prime Video's The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel and Netflix's The Politician. Walker currently stars in Prime Video's The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power, which returns for its third season this fall. Molina appeared in the Nickelodeon film A Really Haunted Loud House.
  • Fisher will play Barbara Van Laar, the artistic and headstrong teen with a punk sensibility, whose disappearance is at the heart of the series. She joins Camp Emerson seeking refuge from her fraught family unit and finds kinship with campers and counselors alike. While young, she has the maturity someone forced to make serious decisions much too early on in life.
  • Gupton will play Denny Hayes, a captain in the Bureau of Criminal Investigations. A well-intentioned investigator, he struggles with balancing his well-protected peace and his new colleague, Judy Luptack (Hawke).
  • Perkins will play TJ Hewitt, the quietly commanding director of Camp Emerson who quickly and confidently jumps into action when one of her campers goes missing.
  • Walker will play Peter Van Laar III, the imposing, entitled and humorless wealthy heir to the Van Laar estate, whose behavior is a struggle for both his wife, Alice (Condon), and 13-year-old daughter.
  • Molina will play Tracy Jewell, a determined young camper at Emerson who makes it her mission to help find her missing bunkmate, even if it means endangering her own life.
NETFLIX's VIRGIN RIVER
  • Natasha Calis is set as a recurring guest star on the drama's upcoming eighth season - with the option to become a series regular should the drama be renewed for Season 9. She currently stars in Paramount+'s SkyMed, which released its fourth season last week.
  • She will play Dr. Astrid, a brashly confident surgical resident who finds herself assigned to a rotation in Doc's (Tim Matheson) clinic after mysteriously being placed on probation. Her bedside manner may be lacking, but she's willing to do almost anything to get out of Virgin River and back in the surgical wing.
