Hulu's Paradise; Netflix's Untitled Las Vegas Drama; and Prime Video's Scarpetta.
NETFLIX's UNTITLED LAS VEGAS DRAMA
- Oscar Isaac is expanding his relationship with Netflix as star and executive producer of the upcoming drama created by Brian Koppelman and David Levien. Last fall, he starred in the Netflix film Frankenstein directed by Guillermo del Toro. Last month, he starred in the second season of the anthology drama Beef.
- He will play Robert "Bobby Red" Redman, the President of the hottest hotel casino in Las Vegas, who has to make some long odds moves to try and secure his position and take more ground.
PRIME VIDEO's SCARPETTA
- David Arquette, Jodi Balfour, William Zabka, Stella Baker, Kim Dickens, Troy Garity, Jerod Haynes, Michael "Killer Mike" Render and Holland Taylor have landed recurring roles on the drama's upcoming second season. Arquette previously starred in the Scream film franchise. Balfour starred for three seasons in Apple TV's For All Mankind. Zabka starred for six seasons in Netflix's Cobra Kai. Baker starred in The CW's one-season drama The Republic of Sarah. Dickens starred for three seasons in HBO's Deadwood, four seasons in HBO's Treme, five seasons in AMC's Fear the Walking Dead and in the Prime Video limited series The Better Sister. Garity recurred on HBO's Ballers and USA's Shooter. Haynes recurred on NBC's Chicago Med and AMC's 61st Street. Killer Mike recurred on FX's The Lowdown. Taylor has received nine Emmy Award nominations for her roles on ABC's The Practice, AMC's The Lot, CBS' Two and a Half Men, Netflix's Hollywood, and Apple TV's The Morning Show - winning one for the ABC drama in 1999.
- No details were immediately announced about the characters these new cast additions will be playing. They will join returning main cast members Nicole Kidman, Jamie Lee Curtis, Bobby Cannavale, Simon Baker, Ariana DeBose, Rosy McEwen, Amanda Righetti, Jake Cannavale and Hunter Parrish.
HULU's PARADISE
- Elijah Wood and Melissa Benoist have joined the cast of the drama's upcoming third season. Wood currently recurs on Showtime's Yellowjackets, which has been renewed for a fourth and final season. Benoist starred for six seasons in The CW's Supergirl and in Netflix's one-season drama The Waterfront.
- No details were immediately announced about the characters they will be playing.
