Apple TV's Untitled Dakota Fanning Drama; Netflix's The God of the Woods; Prime Video's Fallout;
NETFLIX's THE GOD OF THE WOODS
- Tracy Letts, John Gallagher Jr., Lola Kirke and Colton Ryan have joined the cast of the upcoming drama starring Maya Hawke and Kerry Condon. Letts previously starred for two seasons in Showtime's Homeland, two seasons in HBO's Divorce and in the first season of HBO's Winning Time: The Rise of the Lakers Dynasty. Gallagher starred for three seasons in HBO's The Newsroom and in the HBO limited series Olive Kitteridge. Kirke starred for four seasons in Prime Video's Mozart in the Jungle and recurred on Starz's Three Women. Ryan starred in the Hulu limited series The Girl From Plainville and recurs on Hulu's Chad Powers.
- Letts will play Peter Van Laar II, an older, wealthier, seemingly kinder version of his son (Benjamin Walker) but something potentially disturbing lurks beneath his façade.
- Gallagher will play Jacob Sluiter, a convicted murderer and recent prison escapee. He resurfaces near his old hunting grounds around the same time a 13-year-old goes missing.
- Kirke will play Delphine Barlow, Alice's (Condon) recently widowed older sister, a confident, boisterous presence with the ability to make every conversation about herself.
- Ryan will play John Paul McClellan Jr. Entitled and emotionally repressed, he is the son of a wealthy family with deep, potentially dangerous ties to Camp Emerson.
- Rounding out the cast in recurring roles include Camila Cano-Flavia (Three Women) as Donna Romano; Tristan Leander Green (The Bard) as Lee Towson; Cliff Chamberlain (Homeland) as Carl Stoddard; Lynden Miles Ley (Disinherited) as Bear Van Laar; Dannie McCallum (Echo) as Jeannie Clute; Andrew Polk (Daredevil) as Clovis Goldman; Chris Henry Coffey (The Madness) as Sergeant Jimmy Dagle; David Furr (The Gilded Age) as John Paul McLellan Sr.; Joseph Adams (Zero Day) as Vic Hewitt; and Brooklyn Shuck (Evil) as Annabel.
APPLE TV's UNTITLED DAKOTA FANNING DRAMA
- Grace Gummer will co-star opposite Dakota Fanning and Stellan Skarsgård in the upcoming drama created by Alex Cary. She previously starred for two seasons in CBS' Extant, three seasons in USA's Mr. Robot, in the first season of Peacock's Dr. Death, and in the FX limited series Love Story.
- She will play Juliana, Brant's (Skarsgård) eldest child.
PRIME VIDEO's FALLOUT
- Manny Jacinto, Emily Mortimer and Thomasin McKenzie have booked recurring roles on the drama's upcoming third season. Jacinto previously starred for four seasons in NBC's The Good Place and in Disney+'s one-season drama The Acolyte. Mortimer created and starred in the BBC One limited series The Pursuit of Love. McKenzie starred in the films Joy and The Testament of Ann Lee.
