HBO's TASK
- Tim Blake Nelson, Jharrel Jerome, Brían F. O'Byrne, Bethlehem Million and Kevin Dunn have joined the cast of the drama's upcoming second season. Nelson previously starred in the HBO limited series Watchmen and recurred on FX's The Lowdown. Jerome won an Emmy Award in 2019 for his performance in Netflix's When They See Us. O'Byrne has received five Tony Award nominations - winning in 2004 for his featured role in the play Frozen. Million recurred on Showtime's Flatbush Misdemeanors and HBO Max's And Just Like That. Dunn starred for six seasons in HBO's Veep.
- Nelson will play Denny Coughlin, a career cop who plays by his own rules, recruited to be part of Tom Brandis' (Mark Ruffalo) task force.
- Jerome will play Jordan Barnes, Eddie Barnes' (Mahershala Ali) son.
- O'Byrne will play Charlie Boylan, a retired DEA agent and mentor to Eddie Barnes.
- Million will play Lisa Barnes, Eddie Barnes' daughter.
- Dunn will play Vince Runyan, a no-nonsense FBI agent and Tom Brandis' boss.
FOX's BEST MEDICINE
- Andrea Martin will guest star in an upcoming episode of the dramedy's second season. She previously starred for three seasons in Hulu's Difficult People, two seasons in NBC's Great News and two seasons in Paramount+'s Evil. She also recurred on Hulu's Only Murders in the Building, Paramount+'s The Good Fight and HBO's The Gilded Age. And finally, she has received six Tony Award nominations - winning twice for her performances in the musicals My Favorite Year and Pippin.
- She will play Judith, a quirky friend of Aunt Sarah's (Annie Potts). She becomes yet another townsperson to test Martin's (Josh Charles) patience. When Judith's smoking habits begin to not only affect her own health, but the safety of the town, Martin and Sarah need to get involved.
