Hulu has today renewed its original drama series Furious for a second season. The renewal comes ahead of the first season finale on Monday, August 31.
Loosely inspired by the 1987 film Black Widow, the drama follows an FBI agent, Alice Black, on the hunt for a mysterious and calculating female serial killer. Both walk their own paths toward justice, and as their lives start to intertwine, the line between right and wrong begins to blur.
The drama stars Emmy Rossum, Lola Petticrew, Quincy Tyler Bernstine and Scoot McNairy.
Guest stars in the first season include Jake Lacy, Rob Delaney, Hope Davis, Ron Yang and Steve Way.
Elizabeth Meriwether created the drama. She executive produces with Rossum, Ronald Bass, Matt Olmstead, Sam Hoffman and director Brian Kirk. 20th Television, Searchlight Television, Composition 8 and Elizabeth Meriwether Pictures produce.
