Adapting "Clown Town," the ninth novel in Mick Herron's "Slough House" book series, Season 8 will see Jackson Lamb and Diana Taverner face off in their most explosive confrontation yet. When a botched attempt to blackmail the Park puts Taverner on the offensive, it is up to Lamb to unravel one of MI5's darkest secrets and put an end to it once and for all.
The cast for the sixth season includes Gary Oldman, Jack Lowden, Kristin Scott Thomas, Jonathan Pryce, Hugo Weaving, Saskia Reeves, Christopher Chung, Aimee-Ffion Edwards, Olivia Cooke, Joanna Scanlan, Tom Brooke, Samuel West, Ruth Bradley, Harry Lloyd, Kyle Soller, MyAnna Buring, Lenny Rush and Lucian Msamati.
Ben Vanstone serves as showrunner for the seventh and eighth seasons, with Adam Randall set to return as director for the eighth. They will executive produce with Oldman, Herron, Jamie Laurenson, Hakan Kousetta, Douglas Urbanski, Iain Canning, Emile Sherman, Gail Mutrux, Billy Bowring and Helen Gregory.
