Yasmen and Josiah Wade's love was supposed to last forever. When life dealt them back-to-back devastating blows, they realized love can't solve everything. Ryan co-created the drama with Malcolm D. Lee, who will also direct. From Scratch co-creators (and sisters) Attica Locke and Tembi Locke will serve as co-showrunners. All four will executive produce with Dominique Telson, John Legend, Mike Jackson and Debra Martin Chase. Universal Television and Get Lifted Film Co. will produce.
