The 10-episode second season will debut on Friday, October 16 at 10/9c.
The new season picks back up with Rudy Baylor, an underdog lawyer taking on powerful interests alongside his boss Jocelyn "Bruiser" Stone and his right-hand man Deck Shifflet, the firm's colorful paralegal. J. Lyman Stone and Associates faces old adversaries and new ones in a case where the lives of hundreds of children hang in the balance, and where winning might be just as dangerous as losing. Later, Rudy goes up against his former law school flame, Sarah Plankmore, in the courtroom at the behest of her mysterious new boss, Amanda Vonn, a powerful attorney whose agenda may be hiding a shocking international conspiracy. In a separate case, Bruiser's ex-husband Tom Cassady turns to her for help as his legal troubles threaten his life and that of the star pitcher of the minor league baseball team he coaches.
The second season stars Milo Callaghan, Lana Parrilla, P.J. Byrne, Madison Iseman, Merle Dandridge, Richard Kind and Austin Nichols.
Recurring guest stars include John Slattery, Karen Bryson, Liam O'Halloran, Asher De Land, Libby Kay, Kevin Ryan and Tim Murphy.
Michael Seitzman and Jason Richman developed the drama inspired by the novel from John Grisham. All three executive produce with Patrick Moran, David Gernert and Jason Blum. Lionsgate Television and Blumhouse Atomic Monster produce.
