Paramount+ has today announced the premiere date for its upcoming Tulsa King spinoff Frisco King starring Samuel L. Jackson.
The eight-episode first season will launch on Friday, December 18 with its first two episodes. New episodes will then be released weekly every Friday until the season finale on January 29.
Seasoned New Orleans gangster Lee Washington (Jackson) lands in Frisco, Texas and discovers a hustler's playground hidden beneath the polished surface of American suburbia. Recruiting an ambitious protege, a loyal driver, and a growing network of eccentric partners, Lee transforms small hustles into big business. But, every new score raises the stakes, and as his influence grows, so do the risks, forcing Lee to stay one grift ahead. Frisco may not know it yet, but its new king has arrived.
In addition to Jackson, the series stars Asa Germann, Kai Caster, Lilah Pate and Savanna Gann, with a special appearance by Sylvester Stallone.
Taylor Sheridan created the series. He executive produces with Jackson, Stallone, David C. Glasser, Ron Burkle, David Hutkin, Bob Yari, LaTanya Richardson Jackson, Keith Cox and directors Christina Alexandra Voros and Michael Friedman. Paramount Television Studios, 101 Studios, Bosque Ranch Productions and Balboa Productions produce.
