BET Renews 'Sistas' for Season 9

BET has today renewed its original drama series Sistas for a ninth season. The renewal came the same day as the eighth season finale aired. Moreover, the cable network has revealed a premiere date for the ninth season.

'The Oval' and 'Sistas' Among 8 Renewals as BET Expands Partnership with Tyler Perry

BET Media Group has today announced a new multi-year content partnership with Tyler Perry. The deal is an extension of the arrangement the network and producer have had for several years that was set to expire soon. As a result, eight of Perry's series for the network have been renewed and an additional drama has been ordered.
