BET has today given a series order to the original comedy series Lot Patrol created by Ernest L. Dancy and Manny Halley. An episode count and premiere date window were not immediately announced.

BET Renews 'Sistas' for Season 9

BET has today renewed its original drama series Sistas for a ninth season. The renewal came the same day as the eighth season finale aired. Moreover, the cable network has revealed a premiere date for the ninth season.

'The Oval' and 'Sistas' Among 8 Renewals as BET Expands Partnership with Tyler Perry

BET Media Group has today announced a new multi-year content partnership with Tyler Perry. The deal is an extension of the arrangement the network and producer have had for several years that was set to expire soon. As a result, eight of Perry's series for the network have been renewed and an additional drama has been ordered.
