TV News - 'Touch,' 'Last Resort,' 'NCIS,' '90210,' 'CSI: NY,' 'Law & Order: SVU' & 'Castle'

        Thursday, August 2 - Today's casting updates include new roles and upcoming guest stars on ABC's Castle and Last Resort; FOX's Touch; CBS' NCIS and CSI: NY; The CW's 90210; and NBC's Law & Order: SVU.


Saxon Sharbino, who starred in FOX's untitled Karyn Usher spy pilot earlier this year, is joining the upcoming second season of FOX's Touch as a series regular. She will play Amelia, the long lost daughter of Lucy's (Maria Bello).

Jay Hernandez (Six Degrees, Hostel) has joined ABC's upcoming new drama, Last Resort, for a significant eight-episode arc. He will play Paul Wells, a handsome and seemingly nice-guy charmer who will test the loyalty of Sam's (Scott Speedman) wife at home (Jessy Schram).

Robert Wagner is returning as DiNozzo's dad on an upcoming episode of CBS' NCIS. Anthony DiNozzo, Sr. will resurface in a December holiday episode.

Also returning to NCIS will be Daniel Luis Rivas will plays Abby's younger brother, Kyle. He is set to return in an early October episode in a storyline that unfolds in the wake of explosion in the Season 9 finale.

Lindsey McKeon (One Tree Hill) has signed on to appear in the upcoming fifth season of The CW's 90210. Her character will become a mentor to Silver as they bond over their Braca gene diagnoses.

CBS' CSI: NY is heading to San Francisco for an early October episode. In the episode, Jo (Sela Ward) and Mac (Gary Sinise) are joined by a California-based FBI agent (to be played by thirtysomething's Peter Horton) who once dated Jo.

NBC's Law & Order: SVU has booked Roger Bart (Revenge, Political Animals), Anna Chlumsky (Veep) and Broadway star Raul Esparza (Leap of Faith) for an upcoming episode this fall, titled "Twenty-Five Acts." Chlumsky will play an author of a best-selling erotic novel who accuses a talk show host (Bart) of raping her. However, SVU grows suspicious as the details of the rape mimic the chapters of her book. Esparza will play a new DA, who struggles to keep the case from turning into a media frenzy.

Caroline Lagerfeltto (Gossip Girl) has been cast on an upcoming episode of ABC's Castle. She will play Angelica Henley, a wealthy socialite who employed the victim on one of Castle and Beckett's cases. Her episode is slated to air in early October.
