         Friday, February 15 - Desperate Housewives star Felicity Huffman has landed a leading role on the FOX drama pilot Boomerang from Davey Holmes and John Wells. She will play Margie, the matriarch of the Hamilton clan who is a briskly professional assassin who can kill and dispose of a suspected terrorist in the afternoon and then switch to wife and mother mode without a hitch.

iCarly alum Miranda Cosgrove has landed the co-leading role opposite Christina Ricci on NBC's comedy pilot Girlfriend in a Coma from Liz Brixius. She will play Evie, Karen's (Ricci) 17-year-old daughter she didn't know she had due to being in a coma. Evie is a small-town, overachieving loner whose world is turned upside down when her mom wakes up, and every hope she ever had of keeping her nose to the grindstone, saving money and getting grades for an out-of-state college is thrown out the winder.

British actor Humphrey Kerr is the first actor cast in a leading role on NBC's comedy pilot Holding Patterns from Justin Spitzer. He will play Griffin, a cautious, often-uptight, over-analytical workaholic who survives a plane crash with his group of friends.

Sandrine Holt (House of Cards), Quinn Shephard and Mateus Ward have joined the cast of the CBS drama pilot Hostages opposite Toni Collette and Dylan McDermott. Holt will play Maria, the mysterious and tough last-minute replacement brought in to round out the hostage team. Shephard will play Ellen's (Collette) teenage daughter who has a very dramatic secret of her own. Ward will play Ellen's teenage son who is a good kid but is lacking direction.

Friday Night Lights star Kyle Chandler is plotting his return to television - after starring in big screen hits Argo, Zero Dark Thirty and Super 8 - with a starring role in the Showtime drama pilot The Vatican. He will play Cardinal Thomas Duffy, the charismatic yet enigmatic Archbishop of New York whose progressive leanings excite some and alarm others within the hierarchy of the Church. Additionally, Matthew Goode (A Single Man) and Sebastian Koch (A Good Day to Die Hard) have joined the cast as Papal Secretary Bernd Koch and Cardinal Marco Malerba respectively.

Veteran actor Ernie Hudson will co-star on the ABC drama pilot Reckless from Chris Black. He will play a world weary experienced CIA analyst who is being put out to pasture by the agency.

Burn Gorman and Seth Numrich have been cast on AMC's period drama pilot Turn from Craig Silverstein. Gorman will play Major Hewlett, a British Major who is assigned to the Colonies. Numrich will play Benjamin Talmadge, an outspoken, impassioned young man who is running reconnaissance missions for General Washington.

American Horror Story standout Lily Rabe is making a return appearance on CBS' The Good Wife. She originally appeared in a second season episode as Petra Moritz. In the upcoming episode, "Going for the Gold," the Justice Department refuses to reveal who will be testifying against Eli Gold (Alan Cumming), so Elsbeth Tascioni (Carrie Preston) takes Assistant US Attorney Josh Perrotti (Kyle MacLachlan) to civil court for defamation in order to force him to answer her questions. Other returning guest stars for the hour include S. Epatha Merkerson, Amanda Peet, Maura Tierney, T.R. Knight and Dominic Chianese.

Don't Trust the B---- in Apartment 23 star Krysten Ritter has landed the starring role in NBC's comedy pilot Assistance. She will play Nora, a magnetic, hyperactive workaholic, with a sex appeal directly proportional to her anxiety level. She is an overworked personal assistant who wants to produce movies and tries, but usually fails, to have a personal life on the side.

Domenick Lombardozzi (Breakout Kings) will recur on the upcoming fourth season of HBO's Boardwalk Empire. He will play Chicago mobster Ralph Capone, the older brother to Al Capon (Stephen Graham).

James Hiroyuki Liao (Battle: Los Angeles) has joined the second season of CBS' Unforgettable - set to premiere in July. He will play Jay, a new detective with a wide variety of eclectic interests and skills. He will appear in at least three episodes with the option to be picked up as a series regular.

30 Rock star Jack McBrayer will guest on an upcoming episode of ABC's The Middle. He will play Dr. Ted Goodwin, a boyish and disheveled dentist who hires Frankie (Patricia Heaton) as his new hygienist.

Sarah Michelle Gellar (Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Ringer) has landed the co-leading role on CBS' comedy pilot Crazy Ones from David E. Kelley and starring Robin Williams. She will play Sydney Roberts, Simon's (Williams) daughter, who is pretty, intense, driven, organized and burdened with being practical. She is the creative director and life and soul of the Roberts and Roberts Advertising Agency. She wants to be her father but is too busy having to parent him.

The Closer alum Corey Reynolds will co-star on the FOX drama pilot Delirium from Karyn Usher and starring Emma Roberts and Billy Campbell. He will play Lawrence Task, the strategic, authoritative, no-BS leader in the budding Resistance movement.
