TV News - 'House of Cards,' 'Californication,' 'Tad Quill Comedy' & 'Divorce: A Love Story'

        Tuesday, April 16 - Michael Gill has been promoted to series regular for the upcoming second season of Netflix's House of Cards. He recurred on the first season as President Garrett Walker.

Oliver Cooper (Project X) has landed a recurring role on the upcoming seventh season of Showtime's Californication. He will play Levon, a budding writer who wants to emulate Hank (David Duchovny), so he insinuates himself into Hank's life to comic results.

Jennifer Aspen (GCB) has joined the cast of the untitled CBS comedy pilot from Tad Quill and starring Matthew Broderick and Kristin Chenoweth. She will play Jennifer - a guest starring/recurring role - a primary antagonist to Jack (Broderick).

Amy Aquino has exited the ABC comedy pilot Divorce: A Love Story from Mike Sikowitz and Daniel Lappin. She was to play the overbearing mother to Jason Jones' lead character, Kenny. With an age difference of 16 years, the producers though that she appeared too young to convincingly play his mother. A search is underway for a replacement with filming scheduled to happen within the next week.
