TV News - 'Breaking Bad,' 'Low Winter Sun,' 'Royal Pains,' 'Hell on Wheels,' 'Da Vinci's Demons,' 'The Soul Man,' 'Covert Affairs' & 'The Exes'

        Wednesday, April 17 - The final eight episodes of AMC's Breaking Bad will debut on Sunday, August 11 at 9/8c. Additionally, the network will also premiere new drama series Low Winter Sun starring Mark Strong and Lennie James on the same night at 10/9c. as well as Talking Bad at 11/10c. - a live half-hour discussion of each Breaking Bad episode in the same vein as Talking Dead has been for The Walking Dead.

Brad Beyer (Jericho) and Alexandra Socha (Damages) have joined the upcoming season of USA's Royal Pains in recurring roles. Beyer will play local police officer Don Barrett who befriends Hank (Mark Feuerstein). A single dad, Don lives with his teenage daughter Molly (Socha). He develops a number of symptons that he attributes to the stress of dealing with his daughter's newly rebellious teen attitude - but that Hank believes is caused by a larger medical issue.

Dohn Norwood has been promoted to series regular for the upcoming third season of AMC's Hell on Wheels - after recurring for the first two seasons. He plays Psalms, a railroad worker who has become the front man of the Freedmen and serves as a moral compass as he and Elam Ferguson (Common) navigate their way through the treacherous and racially divided world of Hell On Wheels.

Days after its series premiere, Starz has renewed Da Vinci's Demons from David S. Goyer and starring Tom Riley for a second season. More than 2.14 million total viewers sampled the series during its premiere weekend, making it the highest-rated launch ever for an original Starz series. Production on Season 2 will begin in Wales in May 2013 with a premiere in early 2014.

Kim Wayans (In Living Color) has landed a guest starring role on the upcoming second season of TV Land's The Soul Man. She will play Dr. Owens, who will try to help Boyce (Cedric the Entertainer) overcome his phobia of doctors. Her episode is slated to air in June.

Constance Wu (One Life to Live) and Johnny Wu (24) will guest on an upcoming season four episode of USA's Covert Affairs. They will play married Chinese bureaucrats living in Washington, D.C. with questionable motives.

TV Land's The Exes is staging a Clueless with Stacey Dash being tapped to appear onscreen opposite series regular (and her former love interest) Donald Faison. She will appear in a July episode as Phil's (Faison) born-again virgin girlfriend.
