TV News - 'Orange Is The New Black,' 'Royal Pains,' 'Major Crimes,' 'Perception' & 'Ravenswood'

        Tuesday, April 30 - Netflix's newest original series Orange Is The New Black from Weeds creator Jenji Kohan will debut all 13 episodes on Thursday, July 11. The series stars Taylor Schilling, Laura Prepon, Jason Biggs, Kate Mulgrew, Natasha Lyonne, Pablo Schreiber, Danielle Brooks, Laverne Cox and Taryn Manning.


Danny Pudi (Community), Claire Coffee (Grimm) and Stephen Spinella have booked guest-starring roles on the upcoming fifth season of USA's Royal Pains. Pudi will play "G," a rising radio personality who starts losing his voice the night before a career-defining event with his idol. Coffee will play Maya, a doggie hotel owner who calls on HankMed for some help. Tony winner Spinella will appear in several episodes as Russel Berger, Paige's (Brooke D'Orsay) tough new boss at an exclusive auction house in the Hamptons.

TNT has increased the episode orders for two of its upcoming returning summer dramas - Major Crimes and Perception. The network has order four additional episodes for Major Crimes bringing its second season to 19 episodes. Additionally, Perception has received a pickup for one additional episode, bringing its second season to 14 episodes.

Pretty Little Liars co-star Tyler Blackburn is the first actor to be joining the series upcoming spinoff, Ravenswood. Blackburn's Caleb Rivers will travel to Ravenswood in the third annual PLL Halloween special in October, which will be used to introduce Ravenswood and its inhabitants and launch the new series. He will appear in every episode of Pretty Little Liars' upcoming fourth season this summer before segueing to the spinoff.
