ABC Renews 'Grey's Anatomy,' 'Scandal,' 'Nashville,' 'Castle,' 'Once Upon a Time,' 'Revenge,' 'Suburgatory,' 'Modern Family,' 'The Middle,' 'The Neighbors' & 'Last Man Standing'; Cancels 'Happy Endings,' 'Malibu Country,' 'Body of Proof,' 'Red Widow,' 'How to Live With Your Parents' & 'Family Tools'

Friday, May 10 - ABC has finally handed out its renewal notices to some of its most well-established hits. Coming back next season are dramas Grey's Anatomy, Scandal, Castle and Nashville. News on the rest of the networks lineup is expected shortly.

UPDATE - The network has also added Once Upon a Time, Revenge and Suburgatory to its list of renewals for the next season. Unfortunately, struggling comedy series Happy Endings was not as lucky and has been canceled by the network. However, speculation is still high that Happy Endings is being shopped around to various cable networks with USA being a prime contender. More updates are expected later tonight on the rest of ABC's veteran lineup.

UPDATE (2) - Modern Family pretty much a no-brainer for renewal has very been given an official pickup for a fifth season of 22 episodes. Joining Happy Endings in cancellation land is the Reba McEntire-sitcom Malibu Country.

UPDATE (3) - Add to the list of renewals - comedy series The Middle, The Neighbors and Last Man Standing. Not returning for more seasons, however, are dramas Body of Proof and Red Widow.

UPDATE (4) - In the final news of the status of ABC's many veteran series, the network has decided to drop both How to Live With Your Parents (For the Rest of Your Life) and Family Tools after one season each.
