CBS Picks Up 'Intelligence,' 'Hostages,' 'Crazy Ones,' 'Mom,' 'The Millers' & 'We Are Men'

        Friday, May 10 - CBS is entering the early series pickup fold by ordering to series dramas Intelligence starring Josh Holloway and Marg Helgenberger and Hostages starring Toni Collete and Dylan McDermott and comedies The Crazy Ones starring Robin Williams and Sarah Michelle Gellar, We Are Men starring Tony Shalhoub, The Millers starring Will Arnett and Mom starring Anna Faris.

INTELLIGENCE
        Based on the unpublished book Dissident by John Dixon, Intelligence is centered at US Cyber Command and focuses on a unity that has been created around one agent (Josh Holloway) with a very special gift, a microchip that has been implanted in his brian that allows him to access the entire electromagnetic spectrum. Also starring are Marg Helgenberger, Meghan Ory, Michael Rady, James Martinez, P.J. Byrne, John Billingsley and Will Yun Lee. Michael Seitzman wrote the pilot and will executive produce with Rene Echevarria and Tripp Vinson. David Semel directed the pilot

HOSTAGES
        Hostages follows Ellen (Toni Collete), a Washington D.C. surgeon who is thrown into a political conspiracy after being chosen to operate on the president of the United States (James Naughton). Her family is taken hostage and it's her responsibility to save their lives. Also starring are Dylan McDermott, Tate Donovan, Sandrine Holt, Rhys Coiro, Billy Brown, Quinn Shephard and Mateus Ward. Jeffrey Nachmanoff wrote and directed the pilot and will executive produce with Jerry Bruckheimer, Rick Eid, Jonathan Littman, Omri Givon, Rotem Shamir and Chayim Sharir. Kristie Anne Reed and Alon Aranya serve as co-executive producers.

CRAZY ONES
        Crazy Ones centers on the hijinks between a father (Robin Williams) and daughter (Sarah Michelle Gellar) as they try to run a success ad agency. Also starring are James Wolk, Hamish Linklater and Amanda Setton. David E. Kelley wrote the pilot and will executive producer with Bill D'Elia, Dean Lorey, John Montgomery and Mark Teitelbaum. Jason Winer directed the pilot

WE ARE MEN
        A young guy (Chris Smith) finds camaraderie living among the more experienced guys he meets in a short-term rental complex. Also starring are Kal Penn, Tony Shalhoub, Jerry O'Connell and Rebecca Brooks. Rob Greenberg wrote and directed the pilot and will executive producer with Eric and Kim Tannenbaum

MOM
        Mom revolves around a newly sober mom (Anna Faris) who tries to pull her life together in Napa Valley. Also starring are Allison Janney, Blake Garrett Rosenthal, Nate Corddry, Matt Jones, Spencer Daniels, Sadie Calvano and French Stewart. Chuck Lorre, Eddie Gorodetsky and Gemma Baker co-write the pilot. Pam Fryman directed the pilot.

THE MILLERS
        The Millers centers on a recently divorced man (Will Arnett) whose life gets even more complicated when his parents (Margo Martindale, Beau Bridges) have marital troubles of their own and decide to move in with him and his sister (Mary Elizabeth Ellis). Also starring are JB Smoove, Michael Rapaport, Eve Moon and Cole Ewing. Greg Garcia wrote the pilot which James Burrows directed.
