TV News - 'The Americans,' 'The Office,' 'Ravenswood' & 'Necessary Roughness'

        Tuesday, May 7 - FX's The Americans has promoted two recurring players to series regulars for the upcoming second season: Alison Wright (Martha) and Annet Mahendru (Nina). "Annet has been a revelation as Nina, bringing the character to life with a rich and subtle depth that keeps you guessing as to what's really percolating under the surface," said executive producers Joe Weisberg and Joel Fields. "And Alison's portrayal of Martha is heartbreakingly real at every turn. We are thrilled to add them to our outstanding company of actors."

NBC has decided to expand the series finale of The Office yet again - adding 15 more minutes to the comedy's conclusion. The finale will air on Thursday, May 16 from 9-10:15. An hour-long clip show retrospective will precede the final episode from 8-9.

Merritt Patterson (Kyle XY, Supernatural) has joined the cast of ABC Family's Pretty Little Liars spinoff series Ravenswood as a series regular. She will play Tess, Olivia's (Elizabeth Whitson) former best friend who is not involved with the curse.

Raphael Sbarge (Once Upon a Time) and Ioan Gruffudd (Ringer, Castle) have booked guest starring roles on the upcoming third season of USA's Necessary Roughness. Sbarge will appear in two episodes as Carl Webber, a high-level employee at V3 who seeks Dr. Dani's (Callie Thorne) advice after a traumatic incident. Gruffudd will appear as Nolan Powers, a successful self-help guru embarking on a book tour and who despises anything having to do with therapy.
