         Wednesday, July 31 - Arrested Development star Jeffrey Tambor will guest star on the fourth season of FOX's Raising Hope. He will play Arnold, a resident of Natesville who starts mysteriously popping up in the lives of everybody in the Chance family - causing much confusion.


Kelly Reilly (Flight, Sherlock Holmes) has been cast in the leading role of ABC's 13-episode limited drama series The Black Box from Amy Holden Jones, Ilene Chaiken and Bryan Singer. The project centers on Elizabeth Black (Reilly), a world-renowned neuroscientist who appears to have it all but is constantly haunted by her own struggle with mental illness. And that is not the only secret she's kept locked away from her family and her new fiancé. Additionally, Simon Curtis (My Week with Marilyn) has signed on to direct the project.

Josh Braaten (Married to the Kellys) has been cast on the USA drama pilot Horizon starring Ruth Bradley and Taylor Handley. He will play Joe McNeil, a newly single father who helplessly watches as his daughter mysteriously disappears - seemingly taken by an unseen force. The only person who believes his story at the FBI is Lauren (Bradley).

Salim Daw has joined the cast of the FX drama pilot Tyrant from Howard Gordon, Gideon Raff and Craig Wright. He will play Yussef, the cunning and savvy adviser and closest confident to dictator Khalid Al-Fahed.

Amir Arison (Zero Hour) will recur on the third season of HBO's Girls. He will play Kevin, a new co-worker of Hannah's (Lena Dunham).

Jim Murray (Chaos) is joining Syfy's Defiance as an new regular for season two. He will play Niles Pottinger, the new mayor of Defiance. Appointed by the Earth Republic, Pottinger is shrewd, polished and charming but his civilized veneer hides a ruthless pragmatist who traffics in information and secrets and mercilessly punishes those who defy him. His latest object of desire is ex-mayor Amanda Rosewater (Julie Benz).

Danny Trejo (Sons of Anarchy), Jenn Lyon (Justified) and Kaden Gibson (Review with Forrest MacNeil) have been added to the cast of FX's upcoming 10/90 sitcom Saint George starring George Lopez. The series revolves around the chaotic life of a recently divorced working class Mexican-American turned successful entrepreneur (Lopez), who struggles to balance his demanding ex-wife (Lyon), his 11-year-old son (Gibson), his overbearing mother (Adriana Barraza) who just moved in, and his uncle (Trejo), as well as his new role teaching history once a week at a night school.

Ghost Whisperer vet David Conrad has landed a role on ABC's new drama series Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. He will recur on the upcoming series but the details of his role are being shrouded in mystery.

Marc Blucas (Necessary Roughness, ABC's upcoming Killer Women) will guest on an upcoming episode of CBS' Blue Bloods. He will play Russell, a movie star who does a ride along with Danny (Donnie Wahlberg) to research for a new role.

Oliver Hudson (Rules of Engagement) is joining the cast of ABC's Nashville for a recurring role in its second season. He will play the new head of Rayna's (Connie Britton) record label who becomes infatuated with her after her album sales go through the roof after her near-death car accident.

Rashida Jones and Rob Lowe are planning on departing NBC's long-running comedy series Parks and Recreation after the thirteenth episode of its sixth season. Jones plays Ann Perkins and has been with the series since the pilot episode. Lowe plays Chris Traeger and first appeared as a guest star in the final two episodes of season two before being promoted to the regular cast in season three.

Martin Henderson (Off the Map) has landed the lead role in Sundance's new drama series The Red Road. The drama revolves around Harold Jensen (Henderson), a sheriff struggling to keep his family together while simultaneously policing two clashing communities: the small town where he grew up and the neighboring Ramapo Mountains, home of the Ramapo Mountain Indians.
