TV News - 'Fargo,' 'American Horror Story: Coven,' 'Castle,' 'Arrow' & 'The Affair'

        Friday, August 2 - Oscar winner Billy Bob Thornton (Sling Blade, A Simple Plan) has been tapped to star in FX's upcoming 10-episode limited series Fargo. He will play Lorne Malvo, the rootless, manipulative man who meets a small-town insurance salesman and sets him on a path of destruction.

American Horror Story season one star Alexandra Breckenridge has joined the ensemble of the FX anthology series' third cycle, titled Coven. She joins fellow AHS alumni Jessica Lange, Sarah Paulson, Lily Rabe, Frances Conroy, Evan Peters, Taissa Farmiga and Denis O'Hare, and new additions Kathy Bates, Angela Bassett, Patti LuPone, Gabourey Sidibe and Emma Roberts.

Antonio Sabato, Jr. (The Bold and the Beautiful) and Joshua Bitton (The Pacific) will appear on the upcoming sixth season of ABC's Castle. Sabato Jr. will play Ramon Russo, an actor best known for his role on the fictional '90s sitcom 2 Cool For School. He will appear in the season's third episode. Bitton will appear in multiple episodes as Grant "Sully" Sullivan, a new detective looking to make a name for himself at the 12th Precinct.

Orphan Black co-star Dylan Bruce will guest star on the second season of The CW's Arrow. He will play Adam Donner, a new co-worker of Laurel's (Katie Cassidy) who is a smart, charismatic, All-American lawyer. He will appear in the first and third episodes of the season.

ER alum Maura Tierney has joined the cast of the Showtime drama pilot The Affair starring Dominic West and Ruth Wilson. She will play Helen, Noah's (West) college sweetheart, best friend, mother of his children, lover and wife of 17 years. Her world will be buffeted by Noah's infidelity and, over time, she will swing back and forth from understanding to furious, from forgiving to vengeful.
