Sunday, August 4 - All American Reject frontman Tyson Ritter will appear on NBC's Parenthood for multiple episodes. He will play Oliver Rome, the immature, egomaniacal, tantrum-prone lead singer of a hot new rock band that is recording at the Luncheonette.

Billy Eicher (Billy on the Strett) will guest star on the upcoming sixth season of NBC's Parks and Recreation. Eicher will play Donna' (Retta) Eagleton doppelganger.

Continuing with ABC's commitment to the split season strategy announced at this year's Upfront presentation, the network has announced the spring return dates for key veteran series, with all new episodes that will run with few or no repeats to their season finales in May. New alternative series The Quest will debut on Thursday, January 2 at 8 PM with a 2-hour premiere. Nashville will return Wednesday, February 26. Grey's Anatomy and Scandal will return on Thursday, February 27. Sunday, March 9 will mark the returns of Once Upon a Time and Revenge and the series premiere of new drama Resurrection.

Peter Capaldi (The Thick of It) has been announced as the 12th Doctor on BBC America's Doctor Who. He will take over the role after departing star Matt Smith makes his final appearance as the 11th Doctor in December's Christmas special.
