CBS Gives Back 9 Order to 'The Crazy Ones,' 'The Millers' & 'Mom'

This season has been all about the dramas - with FOX's Sleepy Hollow, NBC's The Blacklist and ABC's Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. are securing renewals or full season orders. Today, CBS has made the first pickup for a comedy series - electing for full season orders for its trio of sitcoms, The Crazy Ones, The Millers and Mom.

"We're proud of CBS' leadership position in comedy and excited to build on it with the back nine pick-ups of these three new comedies," said CBS Entertainment President Nina Tassler. "These series are creatively distinct, continue to improve each week and are led by strong showrunners, writing and production staffs, and feature amazingly talented casts."

From executive producer Chuck Lorre, Mom stars Anna Faris and Allison Janney. Over its first four airings, the series has posted a 2.5, 2.2, 2.1 and 2.0 in the Adults 18-49 demographic and average 7.98 total million viewers.

The Crazy Ones hails from David E. Kelley and marks Robin Williams return to episodic television. The series premiere opened to a 3.9 and 15.6 million viewers - the highest tallies for a freshman comedy of the fall TV season. In the following weeks, it has scored a 2.9, 2.4 and 2.5 in the ratings.

Airing between The Big Bang Theory and The Crazy Ones, The Millers opened to a 3.3 rating and held up with a 3.0 and 3.2 in the next two weeks. The series was created by Greg Garcia and stars Will Arnett, Margo Martindale and Beau Bridges.
