Cybill Shepherd (Cybill) is heading to ABC's Trophy Wife to play Malin Akerman's mother. Her character, Cricket, is described as "a fun-loving, spontaneous wild child whose arrival quickly throws Kate's family life into chaos." She will appear in Episodes 17 and 18 of the comedy's first season.

Low Winter Sun alum Ruben Santiago-Hudson will co-star on the TNT drama pilot Public Morals starring Ed Burns. He will play Lieutenant King, a womanizing badass, beloved and revered by the department, who has just as much drama outside of the workplace as there is inside the workplace.
