TV News - 'Once Upon a Time' Adds 'Lost' Vet as Newest Villain; Nasim Pedrad & Elliott Gould Rejoin John Mulaney's New Sitcom; Plus 5 More Updates!

Additional Updates for:
NBC's Community; ABC Family's Twisted; and The CW's The Tomorrow People.

Pilot Castings:
Amazon's Mozart in the Jungle and HBO's The Brink.

ABC's Once Upon a Time has cast Lost alum Rebecca Mader in a top secret role for the second half of its third season. The only detail confirmed as that she will be playing an iconic fairy tale villain.

Chris Elliott (Saturday Night Live) will guest star on a spring episode of NBC's Community. He will play Russell Borchert, the eccentric founder of Greendale Community College who vanished following a bizarre sex scandal but has now returned.

Malcolm McDowell and Bernadette Peters have landed roles on the Amazon comedy pilot Mozart in the Jungle starring Gael Garcia Bernal. McDowell will play Thomas, a seasoned conductor being forced into retirement by the arrival of hotshot new conductor Rodrigo (Bernal). Peters will play Gloria, the Chairwoman of the Board of the symphony. Also cast on the pilot are Lola Kirke (Reaching for the Moon) as the impressionable oboist Hailey; Saffron Burrows (Law & Order: Criminal Intent) as Cynthia, a cellist in the middle of an affair with Thomas; Peter Vack (CBGB) as Joshua, a talented dancer out of Juilliard who becomes Hailey's love interest; and Hannah Dunne (This Is It) as Lizzie, Hailey's friend and roommate.

Brianne Howey has been cast in a recurring role on ABC Family's Twisted. She will play Whitney, a free spirit who is full of life and takes chances. She comes to Green Grove to live with her father (Ivan Sergei) for a fresh start.

FOX has assembled the ensemble cast of its straight-to-series comedy Mulaney created by and starring John Mulaney. Elliott Gould, Nasim Pedrad and Seaton Smith, all of whom starred on the original NBC pilot, have joined the series with Zack Pearlman being tapped as the only new addition. Gould will play Oscar, John's (Mulaney) colorful and boisterous neighbor. Pedrad will play Jane, John's roommate and a personal trainer fixated on fairness and justice in her life - particularly, her romantic life. Smith will play Motif, John's other roommate and an experienced comedian and ladies' man whom John often tries to emulate but never quite will. Pearlman will play Andre, a stubborn but energetic 29-year-old trust fund baby.

Esai Morales (Magic City, Criminal Minds) will co-star on the HBO comedy pilot The Brink starring Jack Black, Tim Robbins and Pablo Schreiber. He will play Julian Navarro, the President of the United States.

James Landry Hebert (Gangster Squad) is joining The CW's The Tomorrow People for an upcoming episode. He will play The Wraith, a mysterious hitman who can teleport past security and read his victims' minds. His presence raises the question of whether the Tomorrow People are naturally evolving into killers.
