TV News - 'Once Upon a Time' Casts Its Rapunzel; TV Land Renews 'The Soul Man' for Season 3; Plus 12 More Updates!

Netflix will debut all 13 episodes of House of Cards Season 2 on Friday, February 14, 2014. Returning cast members include Kevin Spacey, Robin Wright, Kate Mara, Michael Kelly, Sakina Jaffrey, Michael Gill, Gerald McRaney, Mahershala Ali, Sebastian Arcelus, Kristen Connolly, Nathan Darrow, Constance Zimmer and Rachel Brosnahan. New additions to the season include Sam Page, Molly Parker, Joanna Going, Jayne Atkinson and Derek Cecil.

Robert Wisdom (Nashville) has booked a leading role on FX's drama pilot Hoke and a guest/recurring role on Syfy's drama pilot 12 Monkeys. On Hoke, he will play Major Brownley, the head of the Homicide Squad and Hoke's (Paul Giamatti) boss who knows all of Hoke's strengths, weaknesses, eccentricities and prejudices. On 12 Monkeys, he will play Jeremy, a former CIA operative who's content to apply his talents in the kitchen.

Nate Mooney (Night Moves) is the first actor cast on the NBC drama pilot Odyssey written and to be directed by Peter Horton. He will play Bob Offer, a protestor with an unapproachable edge who sees conspiracy in everything and thinks he's stumbled on something big this time.

Catherine Dent (The Shield) has landed a recurring role on FOX's Gang Related. She will play District Attorney Ellis the straight-talking but likable boss of Jessica (Shantel VanSanten) who isn't a fan of her father (Terry O'Quinn).

Alexandra Metz (The Originals) will appear on an upcoming episode of ABC's Once Upon a Time. She will appear as the drama's new take on the fairytale character Rapunzel. She will first debut in the fourteenth episode of the season.

Elyse Levesque (SGU Stargate Universe) has booked a recurring role on The CW's The Originals. She will play Genevieve, a seductive and deceptive witch who returns to New Orleans with a mysterious agenda and some unfinished business with Rebekah (Claire Holt) and Marcel (Charles Michael Davis). She joins the drama in the thirteenth episode of the season.

TV Land has renewed The Soul Man for an 8-episode third season. The renewal comes three months after the second season concluded on the network. Ric Swartzlander will return as showrunner.

The CW's Beauty and the Beast has added Tom Everett Scott (Southland) in a recurring role. He will play Sam, a brilliant archaeologist with a short fuse who is someone who can be charming on one hand and a maniac on the other. He will first appear in the twelfth episode of the season.

Lance Reddick (Fringe, Lost) will appear in a multi-episode arc on FX's American Horror Story: Coven. He will play Papa Legba, a "voodoo Satan" and a pivotal figure in the life of Marie Laveau (Angela Bassett).

Alan Ruck (Spin City) and Byron Mann (Arrow) have been cast on the USA drama pilot The Novice starring Shane Coffey. Ruck will play Bill Jones, Kyle's (Coffey) father, a decent and hard-working professional machinist willing to put aside his pride and work as a day laborer in order to pay the bills. Mann will play Johnny Joo, the impeccably dressed owner of a popular dining establishment and a careful, yet dangerous, man who offers Kyle a position within his organization.
