Casting News - 'Rookie Blue' Gets Super-Sized Episode Order; Next 'American Horror Story' Title Revealed; Plus 5 More Updates!

ABC's Rookie Blue; CBS' CSI & NCIS; El Rey's Matador; FX's American Horror Story; History's Texas Rising; and WGN America's Manhattan.





CBS' CSI
  • Gil Bellows (Ally McBeal) will guest star on an upcoming episode of the long-running procedural - the same episode that plans on introducing characters for its planted spin-off starring Patricia Arquette. He will play Mr. Berman, a wealthy and powerful casino mogul with many secrets. He becomes the prime suspect when his wife is murdered.
FX's AMERICAN HORROR STORY
  • Ryan Murphy has confirmed through Twitter that the upcoming fourth season of American Horror Story - which will be set at a circus - will be titled Freak Show.
CBS' NCIS
  • Kelli Williams (Army Wives) will appear on an upcoming episode of the drama series. She will play an NCIS agent who becomes entangled in a story that explores the issue of sexual assault in the Navy.
ABC's ROOKIE BLUE
  • The Canadian drama series is getting a super-sized order for its upcoming fifth season - which ABC just announced it will debut on Thursday, July 17. Instead of the usual 13 episodes per season, Season 5 will include 22 episodes. However, the expansion will cause some issues with fans in the United States who will have to wait an indeterminate amount of time for the second half of the season, since ABC plans to air only the first 11 episodes this summer.
HISTORY's TEXAS RISING
  • Adam Hicks (Lemonade Mouth) has joined the cast of the upcoming miniseries starring Bill Paxton. He will play Tureet Fincham, the youngest Ranger who faces his first skirmish with a group of murdering Indians.
EL REY's MATADOR
  • Alfred Molina (Spider Man 2, Monday Mornings) has landed a regular role on the upcoming drama series starring Gabriel Luna. He will play Andres Galan, the owner of the ascendant LA Riot franchise.
WGN AMERICA's MANHATTAN
  • Michael Chernus (Orange Is the New Black, Nashville) has joined the cast of the upcoming drama series starring John Benjamin Hickey. He will play Louis "Fritz" Fedowitz, one of the lab tech geniuses working under Frank Winter (Hickey).
